Why We Made This Book
After seeing the joy our son found in exploring languages, we wanted to take his curiosity a step further by introducing a wider variety of languages, including those with unique ways of expression like American Sign Language (ASL) and languages indigenous to specific cultures.
Our goal was to broaden his—and other children’s—understanding of global communication, showing them that language can be more than spoken words; it’s also a bridge to understanding the many ways people express themselves around the world. We carefully chose languages that represent different regions and cultures, painting each page with warmth and personality to inspire curiosity and appreciation for diversity.
We believe this book will spark a love for languages and cultural exploration, helping children feel connected to the world and its people in a meaningful way. We hope it becomes a favorite part of your family’s journey into learning and discovery.
