Why We Made This Book
Our son received a book as a gift which was about animal sounds in different languages. He enjoyed reading every word and learning the flags that symbolize the languages represented.
We wanted to encourage this new passion, but couldn’t find any kid-friendly basic language books anywhere with multiple languages.
So we decided to make our own. We first listed up some words that he could use when he meets people from different cultural backgrounds. We then added other basic (and sometimes silly) words.
We hand-painted each page with people from different countries wearing their cultural outfits.
We love this colorful and cheerful book, and we think it’s perfect to encourage kids to be interested in different languages and cultures. We hope you will love sharing it with your loved ones.
